Maryland Bridges
Sometimes all your missing tooth needs is a helping hand from the tooth next door. A Maryland bridge is a semi-permanent ceramic bridge that is ultra-conservative, being bonded onto the back surface of a tooth next door. This is meant for front teeth for medium to long term space maintenance, in the following scenarios: children or young adults that need to wait for growth to end for implant therapy; adults who cannot tolerate removable appliances during a healing period; or in areas with previously failed therapy where a bridge is deemed too destructive.

With Dr. Buie's advanced training and knowledge, the main two issues with this indication- debonding from the adjacent tooth and breakage of the bridge- are greatly minimized, ensuring a durable and esthetic result.
